In 1983 Carola had her legendary breaktrough with the song “Främling” in the Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and won with the highest vote from all jury members.
In 1991 Carola once again took part in the Eurovision Song Contest and won the final in Rome with the song “Fångad i en Stormvind”. She then participated in most of the European TV shows.
Carola is Sweden’s and one of Scandinavia’s a most celebrated and best selling artist. She has been a super star since the mid-eighties with sales in excess of two million units in Sweden alone. In 2003 she was celebrating her 20th anniversary, and the story continues..
